Tumpek Landep On 30th June this year, Balinese celebrated Tumpak Landep. It is the day to give offering to things that are made of metals that are used to support people’s daily life.  We, at Kamandalu, celebrated this religious ceremony at our new temple and invited our guests to experience this Balinese rituals first-hand.
Ngaben Massal
Ngaben MassalNgaben is the unique Balinese cremation ritual to release the soul of the dead to his afterlife before his next reincarnation. As Ngaben is a complicated, often times, costly ritual, a village would have a mass cremation to facilitate the families of the deceased. On 16th and 28th July 2012, in Sukawati and Ubud respectively, they held mass Balinese Cremation ceremonies. Many tourists from all walk of life eagerly watched this unique Balinese cremation.
