Dear Friends,
Welcome back to Kamandalu Ubud April-May 2013 bi-monthly newsletter.
We have been working very hard in pursuit of escalating our facilities and our services. Now that the Saka New Year 1935 has arrived, things are redefined here at our resort. We are very excited!
Kamandalu Ubud proudly presents its new Presidential Villa featuring three separate bedrooms with a spacious dining room and a living room that is overlooking the lush tropical valley of Ubud. This newest facility also boasts a hanging U-shape private pool and on the top floor, a private Jacuzzi that enjoys a breathtaking 180 degree view of the green valley. The compound is surrounded by a large garden with a private day-bed for the ultimate day-dreaming.
As the saying goes, "Continuity gives us roots; change gives us branches, letting us stretch and grow and reach new heights." Change is never easy. We would not have been able to reach this stage without the enduring support from our team as well as valued partners and guests.
A million thanks to you all.
Sincerely,

Darmawan Pandoyo Drajat

Nyepi at Kamandalu |
|
This Nyepi Eve, most of our guests joined the locals at Banjar Nagi, a neighboring village to the resort to watch the anticipated "Ogoh-Ogoh" (giant doll) parade. Prior to the parade, the local young men threw flaming balls of dried coconut husks at each other, symbolizing "Perang Api" (Fire War). The Fire War is believed to drive demons away, making an Ogoh-Ogoh parade a loud ritual. |
