Kamandalu Ubud Masquarade Party

A very special Masquarade Party amidst the rice paddy in Ubud was held to celebrate Kamandalu Ubud’s anniversary. The unique black tie dinner was hosted together with IIMotorsports on 17 November 2016. It has been a memorable night for the invited guests that included IIMotorsports members of supercar owners from all around Indonesia, high profile celebrities, as well as media and travel partners. Guests were taken into a magical world as twinkling fairly lights and vibrant decor of black and silver embellishments surrounded the lawn under a star-studded sky against a backdrop of lush rice terraces. A sumptuous five course dinner, preluded by a cocktail gathering, was served during this special dinner.

A special performance by an Indonesian rising star, the very talented Isyana Sarasvati, simply mesmerized the guests with her beautiful music and soprano voice. Performing some of her popular songs such as “Tetap Dalam Jiwa “and “Kau Adalah” Isyana’s heartfelt act surely captivated the guests. The night did not end young. Guests immersed in an amazing convergence of light, percussion and upbeat music performance that lighted up the night.

Continuing the party in true tropical style, DJ Claudia Jaramillo, one of Indonesian’s most popular female DJ, played up her techno music combined with her unique, catchy house vocal.

"From the moment we arrived at Kamandalu we were greeted with friendly staff, willing to help us with any query or request. As we walked through the resort we were blown away by its breathtaking beauty - we especially loved how Kamandalu combined both modern designs with a traditional Balinese atmosphere.

We stayed in Villa Rama - the view from Villa Rama over the valley is jaw-dropping, we especially enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool over-looking the valley which provided a picturesque setting, with the privacy of our own pool. All the rooms in Villa Rama were unique, beautiful and luxurious. We stayed in the Master bedroom in Villa Rama which had its own private spa over-looking the valley, the bedroom was huge and had every comfort you could imagine.

We started planning our wedding 9 months in advance and from the beginning staff were accommodating and easy to communicate with. They exceeded all expectations and ensured that everything we asked for was delivered on the day. The flowers and decorations were lovely, the food was incredible and staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us.

On the day of the wedding staff had set-up our ceremony outside at Alun Alun (overlooking the valley). The ceremony looked magical! Unfortunately it started raining just before the ceremony commenced and the wedding was moved indoors. Without any stress, the staff moved the ceremony inside and managed to deliver a wonderful wedding setting. Our reception was fun and staff were attentive to all our guests needs - the cocktails were delicious and the food was of the highest standard with the kitchen having no hesitation in meeting all dietary needs.

Our wedding guests loved Kamandalu and all commented on how special it was to visit such a beautiful destination. We now have so many lovely memories from our wedding at Kamandalu and hope that we can come back to visit with friends and family in years to come. We want to especially thank Deasy, without your help our wedding would not have possible - you made our wedding event run seamlessly. Also a special thank you to Artha – he was so calm, reliable and always willing to help with any request."
