		Galungan and kuningan 24 July 2019 and 3 August 2019 Galungan marks the start of the sequence of important ceremonies in Bali. It is a Balinese holiday celebrated every 210 days on Balinese calendar, celebrated as a symbol of the victory of good against evil. On this holy day, Balinese people will prepare offerings to show gratitude towards Sang Hyang Widhi, their sainted ancestors and the creator. Ten days after Galungan, Balinese people celebrate Kuningan, a farewell celebration for their ancestors which return to heaven after visiting the earth during Galungan.

		Bali International Kite Festival 15 - 18 August 2019 This annual event takes place on the black sand beach of Padang Galak just north of Sanur. Once associated with the end of the rice harvest, it is now a community festival that sees giant kites and artistic creations flying high and performing skilful manoeuvres in a fun yet competitive setting.

		Ubud Village Jazz Festival 16 - 17 August 2019 The highly-anticipated Ubud Village Jazz Festival is set to return in mid-August with yet another outstanding line-up of talented musical artists from Indonesia and abroad. It will take place on an open stage at the ARMA Museum in Ubud.

This place was just breathtaking. It was our honeymoon and on arrival all the staff were so kind and helpful, this continued through our entire stay. We were told that we had been upgraded to a pool villa on the valley and I have never seen a place like it. The villa, pool everything was so clean and tidy and they view was amazing. It was such a peaceful stay and I never wanted to leave.
