Rice Harvest Experience Rice is a staple food source for the people of Bali and its growth largely depends on favourable weather conditions as well as a shared irrigation system. The resort’s very own onsite rice terraces are currently turning yellow it is almost time to start our seasonal harvest. We invite all interested guests to come and participate in this activity and see firsthand the amount of work that goes into producing such an essential crop. The harvest is a joyful occasion for Bali’s local farmers as it guarantees a bountiful supply of rice to sustain the community over the coming months.

An Evening of Elegance New Year’s Eve at Kamandalu Ubud was celebrated in true style with an evening of superb dining at Petulu Restaurant against a backdrop of lush rice terraces. The event commenced with a cocktail reception and canapes on the balcony where everyone had a chance to mingle socially before being seated for dinner. Guests then savoured an exceptional six-course menu of cuisine inspired by island-fresh ingredients and seasonal delicacies. There was live music to set the mood highlighted by a vibrant water percussion performance leading up to the midnight countdown. The revelry continued into the early hours with dancing at our dedicated after-party venue where a good time was had by all.

Special Resort Michela - Jakarta, Indonesia on TripAdvisor Kamandalu Resort is a pearl of peace in the island of Gods. We stayed for more than a week and we loved everything here. Magic calm and beautiful environment. You are totally immerse in a tropical nature. Our private villa with garden and daybed outside is a special place for us. Bedroom super clean and the bath towels with good perfume of clean is a special plus. I can continue to describe our special stay here. But I would like to focus on our special treatment during eating time. We have a severe celiac disease so we need restrictedly GLUTEN FREE meals. Here you can find what you are looking for. Gluten free meals either international or balinese kitchen. We found many courses good for us. From the special balinese recepies to the gluten free pancakes and also special bread prepared for us in separate pans. Every day a special dish from the kitchen and also in the swimming pool area we dated a special gluten free club sandwich! It is so hard in south East Asia find places where you can feel comfortable with this needs! All the staff is super professional and more of all is happy to help you in your needs. I really would like to thank personally everyone. Pak Widara the food and beverage manager is a special person for us. Even if super busy every day he took time to spend with us and exchange impressions and words. We really think is a special person. But also the chef Anton and the bakery chef are really special. Satria that has the best soul we can say….Cok… the girls on the restaurant Wayan, Suartini, Ika, everyone made a good job with sincere smile and respect for our privacy. No one it was to much invasive. During my stay in Kamandalu I had yoga session in the morning. that is included in the package. Really really powerful, special place to do yoga in this room open air in the forest….wow! this is special. The swimming pool area is super clean and the perfect time to have a drink is inside the pool with music not to much aloud… We did a lot of activity aroun and in the resort, so at the end of our holiday we always say good bye with the sincere hope to come back again in this place that now we feel like home. Dream Honeymoon Radhika J on TripAdvisor The resort was such a beautiful place for a honeymoon. They gave us a complimentary upgrade to a garden villa because we were on our honeymoon. The villa itself was huge and so tastefully decorated. We had a day bed on the roof and a huge room. It was very clean and the wooden roof and flooring made it even more alluring. The food was good too. The property was big and we could wander around in the very pretty surroundingsm overall thumbs up for couples! More Reviews
